Base Camp Operations
The MLU team specializes in temporary workforce support facilities for first responder crews and any organization with urgent needs to house a sizable workforce quickly and comfortably. Experienced in emergency mobilization, we have the assets and personnel necessary to rapidly construct small- and large-scale base camp operations within 72 hours or less. MLU’s base camps include management trailers, custom 12-person sleeper trailers featuring our proprietary TruComfort Sleep System, climate-controlled showers, restroom and laundry facilities. ArmorDeck ® flooring provides safe and sanitary surfaces for first aid centers, recreation areas, and centralized dining halls. The dining facility includes a full- service kitchen and cooking crew that serves balanced meals to hundreds of workforce personnel. WORKFORCE HOUSING From Notification to Set-Up
When a storm impacts your service area, it can affect thousands of square miles and dozens of counties. For large magnitude events, restoring power can take weeks. Lodging for remote workforce during a major emergency requires reliable base camp operations and streamlined processes.

Emergency Temporary Housing
MLU Services provides Haul and Install services for temporary housing solutions to support displaced survivors whose homes were destroyed by natural disasters. Fast-track Procurement Long-time direct partnerships with suppliers across the country ensure we have a steady supply of hard-to-find resources. We prioritize local subcontractors whenever possible for faster response times and to support affected communities during recovery efforts, and know what it takes to install large numbers of transportable temporary housing units (TTHUs) quickly and safely.

When it comes to cleaning up after a natural or human-caused disaster, the unexpected is expected and MLU’s team is ready to meet every challenge. Rapid Response Logistics
MLU Services is known throughout the disaster response industry for our ability to mobilize, install, and pivot between multiple large-scale operations simultaneously. We have over 20 years of expertise in the complex logistics, tight time frames, and professional standards required to deliver and establish high quality disaster housing, base camp operations, and wraparound services. Our experience as a federal contractor, installing and maintaining thousands of TTHUs directly for the federal government ensures we understand the expectations federal, state, and local organizations place on contractors during disaster response missions. Our catering division is a core component of every disaster response and workforce base camp project. We offer a self-owned fleet of mobile catering trailers and equipment that is always ready and maintained for our next rapid response deployment. A 60’ x 60’ commercial tent structure can be set up for both open outdoor and complete indoor climate-controlled dining supported by mobile kitchen trailers, portable commercial kitchen equipment, and food prep staff. Our nationwide, 1,000+ member “NOW Network” of on-call CDL licensed drivers and additional support vehicle owners, coupled with the largest self-owned inventory of base camp equipment in the U.S., allows us to mobilize and install faster than the majority of our competitors.
MLU’s catering division has the ability to feed up to 2,000 camp members three times a day with our state-of- the-art facilities and equipment.
