Recovery

As former emergency management practitioners with local, state, tribal, and federal agencies, Our team understands the complexities brought about by scarce resources, challenging political environments, and an ever-changing threat landscape. Our transparent and detailed process enables organizations to overcome obstacles and exceed in safeguarding the communities they serve. Program Assessment Tidal Basin’s comprehensive assessments benchmark your readiness against national, state-based, and industry-specific guidance, standards, and regulations. Our process employs gap analysis to perform assessments, utilizing a crosswalk of relevant, identified guidance and regulations to identify existing program shortfalls and progress toward competency. (Tidal Basin’s) organizational skills were outstanding, and the assessment report was robust and met the needs of the state. They were professional and efficient in every task and did a great job keeping me informed of their progress throughout. Laura M. Strother, Director of County Relations, Community Partnerships, Colorado Department of Human Services

Assessments are delivered in both matrix and narrative format. Matrices provide detailed information on specific areas for improvement and help guide program development, while the narrative offers a summary of the entire assessment and is often utilized for updating leadership or stakeholders on program strengths and needs. Program Development Availability of resources, political will, threat environment, and local and national priorities all influence program goals and the capacity to meet those goals. Tidal Basin utilizes the Integrated Preparedness Cycle to develop program plans ans strengthen capabilities. Our phased, continuous process includes: • Planning • Organizing / Equipping • Training / Exercising • Evaluating / Improving This cycle offers a reliable method for program planning and resource allocation and measures progress toward building, sustaining, and delivering capabilities. Whether you are establishing a new program or working toward accreditation, our team of professionals stands ready to reinforce your dedication to the public that you serve.
