Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) – LogHOUSE Since 2018, under the FEMA LogHOUSE I contract, MLU has installed 9,322 transportable temporary housing units (TTHUs), maintained 13,553 TTHUs, deactivated 7,466 TTHUs, constructed seven group sites, and maintained 15 group sites nationwide. The team responded to 17 FEMA LogHOUSE task orders across 10+ major disasters, successfully managing seven (7) concurrently, all while earning consistent Satisfactory to Exceptional CPARS ratings. 2018 California Wildfires Housing Mission Following the Camp Fire in Gridley and Chico, California, MLU constructed an expansive temporary housing community in 70 days, including all infrastructure and 1,500 fully-furnished Modular Housing Units (MHUs) to house 2,100 residents. 2024 Iowa Floods Housing Mission The MLU Team constructed three group sites with 10, 20, and 66 modular housing units, completing each between 35 and 56 days from the Notice to Proceed. 2024 Hurricanes Helene and Milton, Florida and Georgia Housing Missions Following Hurricane Helene, we deployed five turnkey basecamps with 2,000+ beds within 48 hours in Georgia. Following Hurricane Milton, we dispatched and set up 1,560 beds across three sites in the Tampa Bay, FL area.
