Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)

• Launched a call center and case management staff of over 500 within three weeks of contract start. • Processed the first applicant payment within two weeks of program launch. • Approved on average over $6 million in cumulative daily benefits to more than 1,000 unique applicants. • Assisted in standing up the first-ever state-led sheltering and housing program. • Our case managers have reviewed a total of 7,428 applications, with 1,243 approvals to date. We also procured 3,036 trailers, and provided temporary shelter for 1,175 households. • All eligibility documentation, quality review and approval occurred within 48 hours of application. • One of the first programs to make payments to applicants in the country. • The program began accepting applications in December 2021, and paid the first application in January 2022. • Processed more than 1,800 individual right of entry (ROE) applications for residential and commercial properties. • Developed processes and polices that transitioned more than 3,000 individuals from NCS to longer term, more stable interim housing. • Assisted over 2,300 small businesses with application support resulting in over $43 million in grant and loan assistance.
