Contractor Camp Infrastructure Through our parent company, Michael Baker International, and our sister company, Tidal Basin Group, we pair asset-backed deployment with engineering, environmental, and compliance expertise to build camps that withstand schedule, climate, and regulatory realities.
Site Readiness and Build-Out • Site evaluation and layout planning (living zones, dining, admin, recreation, motor pool, staging) • Site/civil engineering and design (clearing, grading, pads, utilities, drainage, circulation routes, and walkway construction) • Weatherization, skirting, and trim-out approaches for extended operations
Utilities and critical infrastructure • Power generation and distribution planning with redundancy options; site lighting for safe nighttime operations • Potable water supply and storage planning; fresh and gray water management; well drilling options when tie-ins are unavailable, and to save on transportation costs • Wastewater collection and disposal strategies; portable sewage treatment plant options if tie-ins are unavailable, and to save on transportation costs • Communications planning for Wi-Fi, radio, and operational connectivity requirements • On-site power generation using modern, low-emissions equipment (Tier 4 compliant options) and HVAC approaches aligned to applicable appliance standards (as required) • Ability to tie into local power grid where feasible
Permitting, Environmental, and Program Support • Permitting strategy and coordination aligned to federal, state, and local requirements • Environmental compliance planning (stormwater, waste, regulatory documentation) and monitoring • Safety management planning and HSE-forward operational procedures • Program management support for multi- site deployments and complex stakeholder environments
