Puerto Rico Department of Housing HUD CDBG-DR, Home Repair, Reconstruction, or Relocation (R3) Program Tidal Basin is assisting the PRDOH in administering a $2.2 billion HUD CDBG-DR allocation for single-family housing repairs. The Tidal Basin team served as the program manager in the north-central region of Puerto Rico for the Home Repair, Reconstruction, or Relocation (R3) program. Our team opened two R3 applicant intake centers and, in a five-month timespan, performed intake for 6,700 households, resulting in 4,070 eligible applicants. Puerto Rico Department of Housing Case Management Service for Economic Development Recovery Program Tidal Basin was selected to provide case management services for the $800 million, CDBG-DR funded economic recovery program portfolio in Puerto Rico. Case management services include intake, eligibility, HUD income verification, award coordination, and closeout services. Case managers also provide technical assistance to applicants on program requirements and application completion in both English and Spanish. Tidal Basin supports two programs: Small Business Financing Program (SBF), and Re-Grow PR Urban and Rural Agriculture Program (Re-Grow). California Department of Housing and Community Development State of California CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT Action Plan Development The Tidal Basin team assisted the State in developing an aggressive schedule to meet the timeline for submission and provided technical assistance on the requirements under applicable Federal Register Notice and other governing regulations. To create and implement this timeline, we liaised with numerous public officials at various levels of government to create stakeholder buy-in and consensus. Our team also conducted extensive independent research and data collection to identify and prioritize critical unmet needs for long-term community recovery and resiliency.
State of Georgia Department of Community Affairs CDBG-DR 2023-2024 Hurricane Action Plan
Tidal Basin is providing technical expertise and administrative support to the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) in developing the state’s CDBG-DR Action Plan for the 2023-2024 hurricanes. Our wide range of services support the development of the Action Plan and ensure the HUD submission deadline is met. These activities include developing unmet needs and mitigation needs assessments, drafting the Action Plan, and assisting DCA with their community and stakeholder engagement efforts, including the public comment period.
